🔍 My Why for Becoming a BCaBA: Well, it's all about that magical feeling of seeing others thrive in their lives. For me, there's nothing more fulfilling than helping people discover their strengths, unlock their potential, and find passion and growth through strategies that truly fit their learning style.

With a journey that began as a behavior interventionist in 2018, I have since embarked on a path of continuous growth and learning. Graduating with a bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis - Autism from Capilano University, I obtained my BCaBA certification in 2021 and have been dedicated to supporting families within the hearing and Deaf plus communities ever since.

🎯 My area of Interest: My unwavering commitment and passion for teaching communication. Whether it's spoken, signed, or facilitated through additional supports, I strongly value and am skilled at empowering clients to express their wants and needs fully across all modes of communication. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing the power of communication and how it can impact client’s lives in so many different ways.

💬 Communication & Relationship Building: For me, it's all about compassion and collaboration. By ensuring that clients and families feel heard and involved in goal-setting, I can support in construction a foundation for meaningful progress and lasting change.

🌈 My Approach to Support: When it comes to supporting clients, I approach each goal with a strength-based perspective, celebrating every victory along the way. After all, progress is about taking one step at a time.

🧗‍♀️ Beyond the Office: I have a serious case of wanderlust! My favourite adventure to date was a backpacking journey from Chile to Mexico, spanning 11 countries over 6 months. From mountains to rainforests to deserts, I have seen it all and I try to bring that same spirit of exploration and discovery to my work at YBG Consulting.
